Selling your home brings life changes: moving to new places, new jobs and challenges, and my favorite: following your dreams. When your house sells quickly you are faced with decisions and changes that can feel a little overwhelming. You want someone you can count on to keep the process on track and be informed to help you progress toward your goals. I am organized and detail orientated and an experienced sales negotiator .
If you are buying a home it is helpful to work with someone who is positive and enthusiastic and knowledgable. You will find I am straightforward and able to provide you with good information about the areas that interest you.You can count on me to return your calls and e-mails and to be a little driven and take the extra step.
You know the homes that will suit you. Different sizes, styles and areas can be surprising and offer possibilities you don't want to miss. Count on me to show you the homes that interest you as they come on the market and also to suggest others that I think might work for you that just might include one that will catch your imagination after all.
I have purchased several homes--including one custom built for my family, remodeled six properties, and bought investment rentals. Starting my real estate career 30 years ago and selling millions of dollars in sales, I have managed a branch office and assisted and coached new sales people. At Bay Bank Mortgage I worked in residential lending—that experience is still valuable every day.
This Pioneer Valley has always been my home. My son Robby was raised here and is a business owner himself. During my off time I take pictures of tractors (and Robby) on construction sites!
I am from a family of five brothers and two sisters. My mom was a nurse and my dad owned Howard’s Tractor Service. When I was a kid we lived on a farm in Belchertown where my dad raised feed and hay for our horses and cows. So, I have a pretty fair sense of the land and a great love of it as well.
Some horseman might know that I started, owned, and operated Heartland Farm for over 20 years—nearly 15 of those in Amherst. We gave lessons, offered summer camp, and trained and resold horses, many of them ex race horses. Winston Churchill said, "The outside of a horse is good for the inside of man.” I sold Heartland in 2015
Grounded by the University of Massachusetts, 4 colleges, and 3 community colleges, the Pioneer Valley attracts people from many different places and with many different goals. It keeps me fascinated and in touch. I hope to meet you and hear about your needs in a home and your wish list!
Welcome to this beautiful valley.
